On America’s 149 th Annual MEMORIAL DAY, the Board of Directors of the WALK OF HEROES/Veterans War Memorial wishes to say THANK YOU to all veterans for their service and sacrifice and to their families for being part of the Home Front.

Additionally, we honor all families who lost a loved one, while serving America, and will never forget their ultimate sacrifice.

Also, THANK YOU to all program participants, all of you in attendance, all volunteers, Rockdale County employees and Rockdale County Sheriff’s Department, MPrint USA, Tommy Moon & Cherokee Golf Club and Terry Spain for the sound system.

All of us collectively understand that FREEDOM IS NOT FREE and those who are serving, or have served, IN HARM’S WAY accept the reality they could live out the words in JOHN 15:13!
