Did you know? Recently the Rockdale Citizen/Newton Citizen announced the 2015 Reader’s Choice Awards. The Walk of Heroes was chosen as the Reader’s Choice Award for the #1 Recreation Area.
The Board of Directors gathered at the Park to accept this award, and wish to remind viewers that the mission is to complete the memorial to ensure that all generations understand that FREEDOM IS NOT FREE and honor the service and sacrifice of all veterans and their families.
You have helped us complete $2.8 million to date. But we need your continued help.
