Memorial Hours: Walk of Heroes Veterans War Memorial maintains the same hours as Black Shoals Park. Our hours are Thursday through Tuesday, 7:00am – Dusk, Closed Wednesdays and National Holidays

The veterans memorial has an amphitheater where we hold our annual Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies. We open the memorial on these national holidays specifically for the ceremonies, which begin at 11am, and close the memorial after the ceremony ends. There is also a pavilion. The amphitheater and pavilion can be reserved during park hours by contacting us.
